Screenshot Bin Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 25, 2026
Screenshot Bin (“the app”) does not collect your personal information. This policy explains what the app does on your device. The Korean version is the original; this is a translation.
1. Information we collect
The app does not collect personal information such as your name, contact details, device identifiers, location, or usage history. There is no sign-up or login, and no advertising or analytics tools. The app sends no information over the internet.
2. What happens only on your device
- Photo library access: The app accesses your photo library to find and sort screenshots, and to delete or add to albums the photos you choose. Photos never leave your device.
- Text recognition and sorting: The app reads the text in screenshots on your device using the built-in iOS Vision feature, and uses the result to sort them into bins such as “likely to delete” and “keep”.
- What is stored on your device: Recognized text, sorting results, image features used to group similar screens, categories you changed yourself and items you marked to keep, albums the app created, and schedules found in screenshots (flight, stay, booking and meeting dates and times; gift card expiry dates, due dates) with their “done” marks. All of this stays in the app’s storage on this device.
- Notifications: If you allow it, the app notifies you on your device about new screenshots, finished analysis, and, with Screenshot Bin Plus, schedules found in your screenshots. Notification content is not sent anywhere.
- Widgets: Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets share only the bin counts the app calculated, on this device.
- Add to Calendar (Screenshot Bin Plus): The app adds a schedule you choose to this device’s calendar through the standard iOS event screen. The app does not read your calendar. If you use iCloud Calendar, iOS syncs the added event to your iCloud.
- Payments (Screenshot Bin Plus): Payments are handled by Apple. The app does not receive payment information; it only checks on the device whether you have purchased.
3. Sharing with others
The app does not share any information with other companies or people, and does not outsource any processing.
4. Retention and deletion
Information stored on your device is deleted when you delete the app. Photos deleted in the app stay in “Recently Deleted” in the Photos app for 30 days before iOS removes them. You can change photo access at any time in iOS Settings > [the app’s name] > Photos.
5. Children
The app does not collect personal information from any user, including children.
6. Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the update with its effective date on this page and on the app’s Info screen.
